Mr. B, who lives in Fairlington, had good reason to be. “My wife is pregnant and due in a few months,” he told us in an email. Time was of the essence, but he also wanted to ensure that the health of his pregnant wife and their child would not be affected by VOCs*, in the paint used during the kitchen remodel project. There was also testing for lead, which came back negative thankfully.

White painted maple cabinets, hardware knobs, natural stone backsplash tile, ceramic flooring, paint, under cabinet lights, stainless steel sink and appliances, faucet, and all necessary building materials were provided by FW&D.

Mr. B even upgraded to black pearl for his countertop, which gave a dramatic effect to the already well planned kitchen upgrade.
