It started with FW&D. Finished floors throughout the home, Kitchen and Bath Remodeling projects, and of course Window Replacement. Add to that a painter. Then call upon an interior decorator to help find pieces to bring gentle shifts of color and elegance in each room. The collaboration ended with a home worthy of recognition.

The presentation and décor within the home caught the attention of The Fairlington Historical Society, and this wonderfully decorated living space became one of the ten homes in the 2011 Fairlington Home and Garden Tour. The paragraph about this Edgewood Model was quite quaint.
Tour this charming end unit Edgewood that preserves the feel of 1940s Fairlington, while providing all the comforts of a modern home. This original kitchen cabinets have been reworked to a flawless condition, and notice the granite inlay top on the wine bar in the dining room. Laminate flooring has been added in the downstairs where there is a guest suite and office. Upstairs features include a cabana-striped bathroom and a cozy reading nook in the Master bedroom. The beautiful décor throughout makes this a “restoration” worth seeing. Exit through the lovely garden and notice the stamped concrete placed over the existing concrete patio.
FW&D attended the Home and Garden Tour, and while each house was amazing in its own right, this house held special significance to us, because we were a part of it. A few days later, the owner let FW&D return and take photos, just so we could share them with you now. Below is a slide show of the home. We here at FW&D hope you enjoy it.

We have some of the most wonderful clients.
